Licking Wildcats (Licking, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Steelville Cardinals (Steelville, MO), 50-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Licking upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Crocker (Crocker, MO) to play the Lions in a Frisco bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Crocker won 64-63 in their recent non-league bout against St. Elizabeth (St. Elizabeth, MO)

Next up, the Cardinals play the West County Bulldogs (Leadwood, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Steelville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
