The Mountain Valley Falcons basketball team (Rumford, ME), was nudged 42-39 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Madison Bulldogs (Madison, ME)

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Telstar for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Madison will battle a Rebels team coming off a 73-47 non-league loss to Dirigo (Dixfield, ME). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.

The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Poland (Poland, ME). The Knights come into the B South battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Poland was nudged by Waynflete (Portland, ME), 72-59, in a non-league battle.
