Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Plum knocked off by Mars

The Mars Fightin' Planets basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Plum Mustangs to 46 in the Fightin' Planets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Fightin' Planets now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Knoch for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Mars will meet a Knights team coming off a 69-44 non-league win over Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA). The Knights record now stands at 2-0.

The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Propel Braddock Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Propel Braddock Hills ran past Perry Traditional Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 40-34, in a non-league contest.
