The Sherman Tide basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Meadow Bridge Wildcats to 37 in the Tide league victory on Friday.

The Tide now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host River View for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Sherman will battle a Raiders team coming off a 60-55 non-league win over Man (Man, WV). The Raiders record now stands at 3-0.

The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Richwood (Richwood, WV). The Lumberjacks come into the Coalfield A contest with a 0-1 record.
