Washington High School Basketball - Medical Lake can't hold off Northport

The Northport Mustangs basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Medical Lake Cardinals to 68 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Selkirk for a 1B Northeast contest on Saturday, December 9. Northport will battle a Rangers team coming off a 70-28 league loss to Republic (Republic, WA). The Rangers record now stands at 0-4.

The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers (Spokane, WA). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Rogers was nudged by Bonners Ferry (Bonners Ferry, ID), 65-52, in a non-league contest.
