The Vassar Vulcans basketball team (Vassar, MI), was overwhelmed 44-22 in Friday's non-league battle with the host North Branch Broncos (North Branch, MI)

The Broncos now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Algonac for a Blue Water Area battle on Tuesday, December 12. North Branch will confront a Muskrats team coming off a 61-51 non-league loss to Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Muskrats record now stands at 0-4.
