Virginia High School Basketball - Northampton holds off Phoebus

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA) and the visiting Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA), saw Northampton's basketball squad hold off Phoebus by a tally of 54-51.
With the victory, Northampton improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to West Point (West Point, VA) to confront the Pointers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Pointers come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Phantoms confront the Hampton Crabbers (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Phoebus will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Crabbers come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 67-26 league win over Denbigh (Newport News, VA).
