The Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA) basketball felled the visiting Pacifica Tritons (Oxnard, CA), 71-55 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cardinals (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA). The Flashes go into the Citrus Coast test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Fillmore was beaten by Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA), 52-32, in a league test.

The Tritons now own a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Ventura for a Channel test on Tuesday, December 12. Pacifica will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 51-31 non-league loss to St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
