Texas High School Basketball - Royse City can't hold off Poteet

The Poteet Pirates basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Royse City Bulldogs to 55 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ennis for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Poteet will battle a Lions team coming off a 62-46 non-league loss to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Lions record now stands at 2-8.
The Bulldogs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton (Princeton, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Princeton was nudged by North Forney (Forney, TX), 70-65, in a non-league contest.
