North Carolina High School Basketball - Providence Grove topped by Western Alamance

The Providence Grove Patriots basketball team (Franklinville, NC), dropped 57-46 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC)

The Warriors now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Western Alamance will battle a Tigers team coming off a 65-45 non-league win over Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.

The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets come into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Asheboro prevailed over Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC), 70-33, in a non-league battle.
