Westside Warriors (Jonesboro, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ridgefield Christian Warriors (Jonesboro, AR), 74-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westside upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Blytheville (Blytheville, AR) to play the Chickasaws in a 4A Region 3 bout on Monday, December 11. The Chickasaws come into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Warriors play the Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons (Paragould, AR) in a 1A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Ridgefield Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 53-39 non-league win over Norfork (Norfork, AR).
