Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Science and Tech Stingrays (Corpus Christi, TX), 57-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Rio Grande City upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 6-4. West Oso lost 59-54 in their recent non-league bout against Palmview (La Joya, TX)
