Maryland High School Basketball - Seneca Valley nips Springbrook

Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD), 68-65 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Seneca Valley upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Screamin' Eagles travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to play the Barons in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Barons come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Bethesda-Chevy Chase won 53-40 in their recent non-league bout against Poolesville (Poolesville, MD)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Springbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
