The Southeast Lauderdale Tigers basketball team (Meridian, MS), was edged 74-70 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Sumter Central Jaguars (York, AL)

With the win, Sumter Central upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Pickens County (Reform, AL) to clash with the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Bay Springs Bulldogs (Bay Springs, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Southeast Lauderdale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 58-37 non-league loss to Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS).
