Southfield Christian Eagles (Southfield, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), 58-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southfield Christian upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Eagles host Novi Christian Academy (Novi, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Plymouth Christian Academy Eagles (Canton, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. University Liggett will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
