The Sulphur Bluff Bears basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Whitewright Tigers to 42 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chisum for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Sulphur Bluff will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 61-42 non-league win over Como-Pickton (Como, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-2.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Home Educators (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Knights enter the non-league match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Christian Home Educators was ripped by Saltillo (Saltillo, TX), 73-46, in a non-league match.
