Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Valley Forge Patriots (Parma Heights, OH), 71-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Westlake upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Demons host Buckeye (Medina, OH) to play the Bucks in a Great Lakes bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Bucks come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Buckeye lost 66-47 in their recent league challenge against Bay (Bay Village, OH)

Next up, the Patriots confront the North Olmsted Eagles (North Olmsted, OH) in a Great Lakes challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Valley Forge will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 67-49 league loss to Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH).
