Sparta Spartans (Sparta, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lowell Red Arrows (Lowell, MI), 41-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sparta upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Coopersville (Coopersville, MI) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Red Arrows play the Thornapple Kellogg Trojans (Middleville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lowell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
