The Pearl River Rebels tipped the host Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals basketball team by a final score of 47-44 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Pope John Paul II Jaguars (Slidell, LA) in a non-league game, on Monday, December 11. Pearl River will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 2-5 record after their 42-18 non-league loss to Riverdale (Jefferson, LA).

With the defeat, Academy of the Sacred Heart moves to 2-2 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Newman (New Orleans, LA) to face the Greenies in a non-league game on Friday, December 15. The Greenies enter the game with a record of 4-5. Newman lost 58-37 in their recent non-league game against Slidell (Slidell, LA)
