Advanced Tech Academy Lakers (Dearborn, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Chavez Academy Aztec Eagles (Detroit, MI), 53-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Advanced Tech Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lakers travel to Communication Media Arts (Detroit, MI) to play the Pharaohs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Pharaohs go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Communication Media Arts won 48-18 in their recent non-league bout against East English Village Prep (Detroit, MI)

Next up, the Aztec Eagles play the Star International Academy Falcons (Dearborn Heights, MI) in a Detroit Metro bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Chavez Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 43-31 league win over Universal Learning Academy (Westland, MI).
