The Airport Jets basketball team (Carleton, MI), was nudged 47-41 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI)
The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whiteford for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 13.
The Jets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Roosevelt edged Huron (New Boston, MI), 48-47, in a non-league battle.
