    • Kansas High School Basketball - Derby winner over Andover Central

    December 8, 2023: Andover, KS 67002

    The Derby Panthers (Derby, KS) basketball felled the host Andover Central Jaguars (Andover, KS), 58-41 in Friday's non-league test.

    The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Arkansas City thwarted Winfield (Winfield, KS), 59-26, in a non-league test.

    The Jaguars now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Andover for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II test on Tuesday, December 12. Andover Central will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 59-44 non-league win over McPherson (McPherson, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 3-0.
