Appleton City Bulldogs (Appleton City, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ballard Bulldogs (Butler, MO), 48-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Appleton City upgrades its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Midway (Cleveland, MO) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Midway lost 40-35 in their recent non-league bout against Sherwood (Creighton, MO)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Northeast Vernon County Knights (Walker, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Ballard will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
