Mississippi High School Basketball - Ashland ripped by Hickory Flat

The Hickory Flat Rebels basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Ashland Blue Devils to 51 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Friday.

The Rebels now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mantachie for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Hickory Flat will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 64-48 non-league loss to New Site (New Site, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.

The Blue Devils (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Byers (Holly Springs, MS). The Lions enter the 1A Region 2 contest with a 2-5 record.
