North Carolina High School Basketball - Green Level topples Athens Drive

December 8, 2023: Cary, NC 27519

In Friday's non-league outing, the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC), by a margin of 49-39.

The Gators (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Apex (Apex, NC). The Cougars go into the 4A Southeast Wake outing with a 3-1 record. In their last outing, Apex defeated Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 58-43, in a non-league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Fuquay - Varina for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12. Athens Drive will clash with a Bengals squad coming off a 56-22 league loss to Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 1-6.
