The Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA) basketball nipped the visiting South Fayette Lions (McDonald, PA), 56-54 in Friday's non-league test.
The Black Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their test against McKeesport (McKeesport, PA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, McKeesport got by Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA), 56-37, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chartiers Valley for a non-league test on Monday, December 11. South Fayette will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 55-34 non-league win over Armstrong (Kittanning, PA). The Colts record now stands at 3-0.
