Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mercy Jaguars (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Briarcrest Christian Saints (Eads, TN), saw Mercy's basketball squad knock off Briarcrest Christian by a count of 64-53.

With the victory, Mercy upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY) to play the Chargers in a District 24 challenge on Friday, December 8. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Jeffersontown lost 53-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Doss (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Saints play the Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Briarcrest Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 56-31 non-league win over Union City (Union City, TN).
