North Carolina High School Basketball - Falls Lake overwhelms Bunn

December 8, 2023: Creedmoor, NC 27522

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) and the visiting Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC), saw Falls Lake's basketball squad wallop Bunn by a tally of 53-28.

With the victory, Falls Lake improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Roxboro Community won 76-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Rocky Mount Gryphons (Rocky Mount, NC) in a 2A/3A Big East challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Bunn will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 66-37 non-league win over Hunt (Wilson, NC).
