The Central Raiders basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers to 49 in the Raiders league triumph on Friday.
The Raiders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva for a AA Section 2 contest on Saturday, December 9. Central will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-42 non-league loss to Cotter (Winona, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
The Buccaneers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN). The Tigers enter the AA Section 2 contest with a 0-3 record.
