Texas High School Basketball - Chillicothe knocked off by Hedley

The Hedley Owls basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Chillicothe Eagles to 28 in the Owls non-league triumph on Friday.

The Owls now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Memphis for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Hedley will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 73-23 non-league win over Hedley (Hedley, TX). The Cyclones record now stands at 5-2.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Vernon, TX). The Indians enter the 1A Region II District 16 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Northside was outscored by Petrolia (Petrolia, TX), 35-15, in a non-league contest.
