The Cooper Cougars basketball team (Abilene, TX), was overwhelmed 66-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the host San Saba Armadillos (San Saba, TX)
The Armadillos now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menard for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 9. San Saba will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 36-34 non-league win over Brady (Brady, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-3.
The Cougars (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bangs (Bangs, TX). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 7-6 record. In their last battle, Bangs trounced Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX), 51-37, in a non-league battle.
