Texas High School Basketball - Corsicana overwhelmed by Edgewood

The Edgewood Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Corsicana Tigers to 25 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burnet for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Edgewood will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-35 non-league win over Rusk (Rusk, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-4.

The Tigers (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Crandall (Crandall, TX). The Pirates come into the 5A Region II District 14 contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, Crandall was routed by Rockwall (Rockwall, TX), 52-45, in a non-league contest.
