Rockwall Yellowjackets (Rockwall, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX), 52-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rockwall upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Rockwall-Heath (Rockwall, TX) to play the Hawks in a 6A Region II District 10 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Rockwall-Heath won 50-39 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage (Frisco, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Crandall will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-9 record after their 58-25 non-league loss to Edgewood (Edgewood, TX).
