Nebraska High School Basketball - Meridian overwhelmed by Cross County

The Cross County Cougars basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Meridian Mustangs to 31 in the Cougars non-league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15.

The Mustangs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sterling (Sterling, NE). The Jets come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Sterling was routed by Diller-Odell (Odell, NE), 58-35, in a non-league contest.
