Stillman Valley Cardinals (Stillman Valley, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL), 49-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Stillman Valley upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Kaneland won 50-21 in their recent league bout against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL)

Next up, the Dukes & Duchesses play the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Dixon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record.
