The Hopkinton Hawks basketball team scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Fall Mountain Wildcats to 27 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
The Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Raymond for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Hopkinton will battle a Rams team coming off a 56-38 league loss to Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Stevens (Claremont, NH). The Cardinals come into the Division III contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Stevens prevailed over Conant (Jaffrey, NH), 38-26, in a league contest.
