Arizona High School Basketball - Gila Ridge topples Westview

In Friday's non-league outing, the Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ), by a margin of 41-28.

The Hawks (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Queen Creek was topped by Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ), 103-13, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Campo Verde for a non-league outing on Monday, December 11. Westview will clash with a Coyotes squad coming off a 51-40 non-league loss to Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Coyotes record now stands at 1-2.
