Arizona High School Basketball - Gilbert crushes Westwood

December 8, 2023: Gilbert, AZ 85234

Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Westwood Warriors (Mesa, AZ), 68-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gilbert upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Perry (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Pumas in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Perry won 63-54 in their recent non-league bout against Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Warriors play the Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Westwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Champions go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 86-18 non-league win over Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ).
