The Gorman Panthers (Gorman, TX) basketball nipped the host Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX), 40-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Three Way (Stephenville, TX). The go into the 1A Region III District 19 test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Three Way was tipped by Ranger (Ranger, TX), 44-8, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Anson for a 2A Region II District 10 test on Tuesday, December 12.
