In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hamlin Chargers basketball team scored a tight 42-39 triumph over the Groton Tigers.
In their next game, the Chargers meet the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) in a A Region 2 match, on Tuesday, December 12. Hamlin will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Fliers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 69-36 non-league win over Chester (Chester, SD).
With the defeat, Groton moves to 1-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Sisseton (Sisseton, SD) to meet the Redmen in a A Region 1 match on Thursday, December 14. The Redmen enter the match with a record of 3-0. Sisseton won 64-50 in their recent non-league match against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD)
