Keene Chargers (Keene, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), 52-10 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Keene upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Roosevelt (Dallas, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Roosevelt lost 38-20 in their recent non-league bout against Conrad (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Parrots play the North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 6 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Polytechnic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Steers come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 23-19 non-league loss to Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX).
