The Pirates now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cooper for a 5A Region I District 4 battle on Tuesday, December 12. Lubbock-Cooper will battle a Cougars team coming off a 39-33 non-league loss to Bangs (Bangs, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 7-9.

The Indians (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Ranger (Ranger, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region II District 11 outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Ranger was topped by Baird (Baird, TX), 46-20, in a non-league outing.
