The Newfane Panthers basketball team (Newfane, NY), was nudged 38-35 in Friday's non-league battle with the host West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY)

The Trojans now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Shore for a Section 6 Erie County III battle on Tuesday, December 19.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wilson (Wilson, NY). The Lakemen come into the Section 6 Niagara - Orleans battle with a 2-2 record.
