The Tri-Valley Mustangs basketball team (Colton, SD), was nudged 58-54 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Parkston Trojans (Parkston, SD)
The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tripp-Delmont/Armour for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Parkston will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 55-24 league win over Menno (Menno, SD). The Nighthawks record now stands at 2-0.
The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Madison (Madison, SD). The Bulldogs come into the A Region 3 battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Madison was nudged by Elk Point-Jefferson (Elk Point, SD), 69-45, in a non-league battle.
