Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wilson Wildcats (Dallas, TX), 45-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ponder upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to clash with the Chaparrals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Chaparrals go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Aubrey lost 52-33 in their recent non-league bout against Liberty Christian (Argyle, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Jefferson Patriots (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
