The De Pere Redbirds edged the host Xavier Hawks ice hockey squad by a count of 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
With the victory, De Pere moves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Redbirds travel to Ashwaubenon (Green Bay, WI) to confront the Jaguars in a bout on Saturday, December 9. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Hawks now sport a 0-1 record.
