The Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), 65-44 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Flintridge Prep was trounced by St. Francis (La Canada, CA), 65-18, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host North Hollywood for a test on Monday, January 8. Monroe will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 50-48 non-league loss to University (Los Angeles, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 5-6.
