Morgan Trojans (Morgan, UT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT), 70-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Morgan upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Wasatch (Heber City, UT) to play the Wasps in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Wasps go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Spartans play the American Leadership Academy Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. Emery will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
