Oxford Wildcats (Oxford, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI), 125-112 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oxford upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Salem (Canton, MI) to play the Rocks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Rocks go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Falcons play the Ferndale Eagles (Ferndale, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Groves will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
