In Friday's league match, the visiting Harding County Ranchers basketball team scored a decisive 43-18 triumph over the Newell Irrigators.

In their next game, the Ranchers meet the Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD) in a match, on Saturday, December 9. Harding County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record.

With the defeat, Newell moves to 0-1 on the year.
